About the Role

The role involves managing large projects or processes with limited oversight, coaching and delegating work to junior professionals, and tackling difficult, complex problems. You will lead the project team, define the execution approach, and oversee handover, planning, monitoring and control of internal and external resources to meet project goals. Responsibilities include organizing teams, assigning responsibilities, developing schedules, determining resource needs, and reporting on cost, timing and staffing while ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards such as ISO. The job requires coordinating with engineering, supply chain and feeder factories to place orders, track material procurement, stage inspections, shipments, and milestone billings, as well as managing installation, testing, commissioning, approvals for extensions or additional costs, and final handover, as‑built documentation and commercial closure. You must ensure adherence to applicable regulations, procedures and guidelines, and embody Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business. • Lead project teams, establish execution approach, and monitor internal and external resources. • Organize teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and determine resource requirements. • Track project status, including cost, timeline, staffing, and ensure ISO quality compliance. • Coordinate engineering, supply chain, and feeder factories for procurement, inspections, shipments, and milestone billing. • Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and obtain approvals for extensions or additional costs. • Oversee project handover, prepare as‑built drawings, close commercial matters, and collect final acceptance certificates. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and Hitachi Energy safety and integrity values.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold an electrical engineering degree with 10‑15 years of experience in project execution services, preferably in GIS, substation or high‑voltage equipment projects, and have strong leadership, stakeholder‑management and communication skills. Experience with Saudi Arabian or Middle East customers is a plus, and the ability to work under pressure to deliver on time, cost and quality is essential. • Hold an electrical engineering degree with 10‑15 years of project execution experience in GIS, substation or high‑voltage equipment. • Demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder persuasion, communication skills, and ability to deliver under pressure. • Preference for candidates with experience serving Saudi Arabia and Middle East customers.
