About the Role

• Support due‑diligence and site‑selection projects for data centers, industrial sites, and power facilities. • Research local ordinances and assess environmental project risks. • Conduct field reconnaissance during site visits with HDR staff. • Coordinate efforts across multiple internal teams. • Apply land‑development permitting expertise and learn civil‑engineering concepts. • Create permit matrices, IPAC reports, and perform stream and wetland delineation. • Develop client‑specific standards and solutions.

What You Bring

This role supports site due diligence and selection for data centers, industrial sites, and power facilities. The ideal candidate brings experience in land‑development permitting, utility coordination, and environmental permitting to evaluate risks and guide project placement. Successful candidates will be self‑starting, capable of working independently and within multidisciplinary teams, and possess strong communication skills. They will also be eager to learn civil‑engineering concepts related to project development and to coordinate across multiple internal groups. • Minimum two years of relevant experience. • Experience coordinating with environmental planning agencies. • Ability to travel up to 20 % of time based on client schedules. • Background in data‑center development and environmental permitting. • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Resources, or Planning. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and research abilities.
