About the Role

The RBS Manager directly supports efforts to foster a culture of continuous improvement, managing Kaizen events and other improvement activities as directed by Site Staff, Policy Deployment, Model Value Stream, and Daily Management. This role also leads the development of the organization’s breadth and depth in RBS tools, focusing on building problem‑solving capability and managing cross‑functional projects that support strategic initiatives and key development programs. Key responsibilities include supporting Model Value Stream planning and execution of A3s, creating Policy Deployment, Bowls, KPIs, and action plans, and managing the portfolio of Kaizen activities. The manager oversees event planning, execution, and sustainment, provides master‑level guidance on RBS principles, acts as a change agent, and shepherds implementation of RBS tools to improve safety, quality, on‑time delivery, and reduce costs and inventory. Additional duties involve developing strong problem‑solving capacity, supporting manufacturing team‑leader development programs, delivering local RBS training, and assisting other Regal Rexnord businesses and the corporate RBS team. • Lead Kaizen events and continuous‑improvement initiatives aligned with Policy Deployment and Daily Management. • Develop and deploy RBS tools to enhance problem‑solving, safety, quality, on‑time delivery, and cost reduction. • Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, including cross‑functional strategic initiatives. • Support Model Value Stream planning, A3 execution, KPI creation, and action‑plan development. • Provide master‑level guidance and training in RBS principles across the organization. • Facilitate manufacturing team‑leader development and other leadership programs. • Oversee project scheduling, prioritization, and sustainment of results.

What You Bring

Education and experience requirements include a B.S. degree, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain, and at least five years of related experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement. Candidates should have two or more years of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, RBS, or other TPS methodologies and a proven track record applying CI tools such as 80/20 analysis, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, Kanban, FMEA, and advanced problem solving. Critical competencies encompass the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical problem‑solving capability, collaborative teamwork, and organizational prioritization. The role demands a creative, progressive thinker who can lead cross‑functional teams, facilitate groups, train others, and adapt flexibly to change while maintaining resilience and drive. Physical demands include occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds and the need for close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. The work environment may expose the employee to moving mechanical parts, though noise levels are generally minimal. • Require B.S. degree (engineering or supply chain) and 5+ years manufacturing/operations experience. • Must have 2+ years Lean Manufacturing or RBS experience and proven use of CI tools (VSM, 6S, Kanban, FMEA, etc.). • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, facilitation, and cross‑functional team leadership skills. • Ability to analyze problems, devise solutions, and communicate effectively at all levels. • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb and work in environments with moving mechanical parts.
