About the Role
The Landscape Inspector will conduct inspections, oversee demolition and construction of transportation facilities, manage drainage, traffic control, and storm‑water compliance, and install electrical, irrigation, signage, and mechanical equipment. You will capture daily project photographs, maintain documentation, prepare reports, coordinate subconsultants, and support safety and quality‑control initiatives while responding to emergencies on site. • Conduct inspections to verify compliance with contract specifications. • Oversee demolition and construction of roads, bridges, sidewalks, and landscaping. • Ensure drainage, traffic control, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan compliance. • Install electrical equipment for traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting. • Install irrigation systems, signage, and mechanical equipment. • Capture daily project photographs and maintain organized office files. • Prepare daily reports, verify approved materials, and conduct labor compliance interviews. • Identify potential conflicts, propose solutions, and advise supervisors. • Collect and file Certificates of Compliance, Safety Data Sheets, and inspection tags. • Report installed quantities for payment verification and change order work. • Coordinate subconsultants for surveying and material testing. • Assist in developing job safety practices and quality‑control procedures.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a highly talented Landscape Inspector to join its team. In this role you will supervise hard‑ and soft‑scape projects, including parks, playgrounds, and water features, ensuring work is performed to contract standards and quality expectations. Candidates should hold a diploma or associate’s degree in a technical or construction‑related discipline, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and possess at least five years of field‑project experience. Construction safety training, such as 10 hours of OSHA certification, is desired, and Abu Dhabi residency is preferred.
