About the Role

What You Bring
We are inviting applications to join our permanent workforce at HMAS Kuttabul as an Electrician, commencing February 2026. The role is open to candidates from any background, whether they have defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills, and we seek individuals passionate about contributing to defence capability within a high‑performing, inclusive team. • Communicate clearly and professionally about work progress and outcomes. • Certificate III in Electrotechnology. • Valid NSW Electrical Licence. • Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and White Card (desirable). • Current open driver’s licence. • Post‑trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance, including inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance. • Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required). • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes. • Strong internal recruitment – 30% of vacancies filled internally.
