About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Lead will oversee maintenance operations for automated systems such as conveyors, robotics, and material handling equipment. The role emphasizes safety, team training, complex troubleshooting, and the management of preventative maintenance programs, requiring deep expertise in electrical systems, industrial electronics, and maintenance leadership. • Promote a safe work environment and train staff on safe operation and basic maintenance of automated equipment. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures for all conveyor, robotics, and material handling systems. • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, motor starters, sensors, and solenoids. • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues and execute corrective maintenance to quickly restore performance. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on AutoStore, case conveyors, pallet conveyors, spirals, robotics, and ML2 equipment. • Perform scheduled repairs, adjustments, and component replacements to ensure optimal system functionality. • Create, manage, and close work orders with detailed labor, parts, and equipment data; develop emergency repair plans for critical assets. • Coordinate with vendors and internal/external service providers for specialized repairs and manage maintenance scheduling.

What You Bring
The position is based on‑site in Roanoke, TX, within an automated warehouse environment that includes moving machinery and industrial automation equipment. Shifts can extend up to 12 hours and involve standing, walking, and accessing equipment in various positions and confined spaces. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Require a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years experience with automated conveyors, electrical/electronic principles, and preventative maintenance programs. • Demonstrated leadership with 3+ years managing a maintenance team and work order systems. • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; skilled in relay logic and ladder diagram interpretation. • Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology/Industrial Maintenance, experience with AutoStore robotics, PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), CMMS usage, and knowledge of lean or reliability‑centered maintenance practices. • Ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand and walk for up to 12‑hour shifts, and perform maintenance tasks in confined spaces.
