About the Role
In this role, you will support the lighting studio by delivering trade‑specific system designs, performing calculations with industry‑standard software, and coordinating with architectural and engineering teams. Field inspections will be conducted to assess existing conditions and guide new installations. • Create designs from concept through construction administration under senior designer guidance. • Design lighting systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades across diverse project types. • Organize drawings and adhere to company standards. • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of work assignments. • Participate in project meetings and coordinate lighting design with clients and team members. • Attend continuing‑education seminars on technical and professional topics. • Work half‑day from home on Fridays throughout the year.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or architectural engineering, 6 months to 2 years of lighting design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and AGI Calculation software. Candidates must be passionate about lighting design, eager to learn, and able to work both collaboratively and independently. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or architectural engineering. • Possess 6 months to 2 years of lighting design experience. • Proficient in the latest versions of AutoCAD and Revit. • Working knowledge of AGI Calculation software, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp. • Demonstrate passion for lighting design and continuous learning.
