About the Role
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading supplier and vendor negotiations to secure reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality materials that support uninterrupted production. This role drives strategic procurement initiatives, manages supplier relationships, and ensures compliance with corporate standards while optimizing inventory and cost performance. The Sourcing Manager leads supplier and vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply, develops and maintains strategic supplier relationships that ensure quality and financial stability, and enforces compliance with sourcing policies, finance procedures, and ethical standards. The manager guides the Sourcing team in analyzing material costs, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and collaborating with Engineering to implement reduction programs and monitor outcomes. Periodic reviews of supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance are conducted to maintain long-term agreements. The role also promotes continuous improvement by applying Carrier Excellence Tools, fostering a positive work environment aligned with the Carrier Way, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards and Quality Management Systems. The Sourcing Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain and works closely with factory management, program management offices, and regional leads. This collaboration ensures alignment of sourcing strategies with operational goals. • Lead supplier and vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply. • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships ensuring quality, delivery performance, and financial stability. • Enforce compliance with sourcing policies, finance procedures, and ethical standards. • Analyze material costs and identify cost‑reduction opportunities. • Collaborate with Engineering to implement cost‑reduction programs and monitor outcomes. • Conduct periodic reviews of supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance. • Apply Carrier Excellence Tools to drive continuous improvement and efficiency. • Foster a positive work environment aligned with the Carrier Way. • Ensure adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and Quality Management Systems. • Lead and motivate the sourcing team, providing guidance and development opportunities.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in engineering, materials management, or supply chain, and have at least five years of procurement or supply management experience in a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a minimum of five years managing teams and driving operational excellence. • Hold a degree or diploma in engineering, materials management, or supply chain. • Possess at least 5 years of procurement or supply management experience in manufacturing. • Demonstrate 5+ years of management experience with strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
