About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, delivering prompt and courteous waste removal services, and ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards and all applicable regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) are completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, navigating assigned routes using route sheets and maps, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of waste at designated facilities. The driver also monitors waste for prohibited items, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, maintains vehicle cleanliness, and completes required productivity and reporting documents while adhering to safety policies and participating in the ReSOP program. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting waste • Follow route sheets, maps, and dispatcher instructions to service customers • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and clean accidental spills • Maintain truck cleanliness, including packer blade and body, to ensure readiness • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports • Meet departmental productivity standards and adhere to safety policies • Participate actively in the Company’s ReSOP safety program

What You Bring
