About the Role
As Transport Manager for Integrated Facilities Management, you report to the Facilities Manager and lead the transport network. You will ensure uninterrupted transport service for clients by keeping the fleet operational 24/7 and having backup plans ready. You will act as the single point of contact for all transport‑related issues, work closely with clients to understand their needs, and develop efficient procedures that generate savings. Teamwork is central to the role; you will promote collaboration, assign workloads appropriately, and run regular team meetings. One‑on‑one catch‑ups will support performance monitoring and career development for each member. You will also oversee training and record‑keeping to maintain high standards. You will drive continuous progress by identifying growth opportunities for the account and ensuring the project meets its financial targets. This includes managing monthly accruals, calculating costs accurately, and processing invoices within agreed timelines. • Ensure 24/7 fleet availability and implement backup plans for uninterrupted service. • Serve as the single point of contact for all transport network issues at client sites. • Conduct regular vendor meetings, training sessions, and maintain accurate records and incident reports. • Lead the transport team, delegate workloads, and hold frequent team and one‑on‑one meetings. • Identify growth opportunities, manage monthly accruals, calculate costs, and process invoices on time.
