About the Role

In this role you will work on concurrent development projects, translate user needs into technical requirements, develop and validate algorithmic solutions through modeling and experimental data, implement advanced signal and image processing using MATLAB or Python, and document and present findings to teammates and customers. • Participate in systems engineering teams on concurrent development projects with overlapping product design and performance goals. • Translate user needs and customer problem statements into requirements for innovative technical solutions. • Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teammates to develop and validate algorithmic solutions via modeling, simulation, and experimental data. • Implement advanced signal and image processing algorithms in MATLAB or Python, evaluating radar and electro‑optical sensor designs. • Document and present results to teammates and customers.

What You Bring

Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science (master’s + 2 years experience or a Ph.D. accepted), experience with remote‑sensing technologies, proven systems‑engineering performance, proficiency in MATLAB/Python, the ability to work both independently and in teams, and strong communication skills; an active Top‑Secret clearance with SCI access, additional MATLAB/Python expertise, and C++ development experience are desired. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science (master’s + 2 years experience or Ph.D. accepted). • Experience with remote sensing technology development (systems or software). • Proven performance in systems engineering and development. • Proficient in MATLAB and/or Python for scientific/engineering development. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Active Top Secret clearance; SCI access a plus. • Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python programming. • Experience developing software in C++.
