About the Role

The role supports the entire installed‑base service portfolio for the legacy Square D and ASCO businesses, covering engineering services, turnkey installations, preventive‑maintenance contracts, power‑distribution equipment, and ASCO life‑extension solutions such as direct‑replacement circuit breakers, motor‑control‑center buckets, automatic‑transfer‑switch upgrades and equipment repairs. Experience in sales, power‑system design, switchgear construction, automatic‑transfer‑switches, paralleling switchgear, maintenance or studies is advantageous. Travel within the assigned territory is required to meet partners and end‑users, develop new sales opportunities, pursue leads and serve large commercial and industrial accounts. The incumbent acts as a consultant, using product and solution expertise to address customers’ current and future electrical power‑distribution needs, while fostering strong relationships with Schneider field‑office sales teams, operations, post‑shipment plant contacts and external distribution channels. Key responsibilities include partnering with internal and external teams to increase account penetration and profitability, setting goals and developing sales and call plans, applying market and account knowledge to high‑level target customers, identifying penetration strategies, staying current on Schneider products, solutions and competitors, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through thorough understanding of client organizations and timely communication. • Support installed‑base services including engineering, turnkey, preventive‑maintenance, power‑distribution equipment and ASCO life‑extension solutions. • Travel to partner sites and end‑user locations to generate new sales opportunities and serve large commercial/industrial accounts. • Act as a consultant, leveraging product and solution expertise to address customers’ present and future power‑distribution needs. • Build and maintain relationships with field‑office sales teams, operations, post‑shipment plant contacts and external distribution channels. • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to increase account penetration and profitability. • Set sales goals, develop business and call plans, and execute targeted account strategies. • Apply market and account knowledge to engage high‑level target customers. • Identify and implement account penetration strategies. • Keep current on Schneider products, solutions, services and competitor offerings. • Deliver high customer satisfaction through deep understanding of client organizations, timely communication and follow‑up. • Present engineering services and retrofit solutions effectively to end‑users.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least five years of technical experience with electrical distribution, switchgear and switchboard construction, familiarity with legacy Square D/ASCO, GE, Westinghouse, Federal Pacific and Allis Chalmers equipment, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com, and the ability to present engineering services and retrofit solutions to end‑users. • Possess 5+ years of technical experience in electrical distribution, switchgear and switchboard construction. • Knowledge of legacy Square D/ASCO, GE, Westinghouse, Federal Pacific and Allis Chalmers switchgear and switchboards. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com.

Benefits

This full‑time, U.S.‑based position offers a base salary ranging from $108,800 to $163,200 per year plus commission. Pay within the range is set based on performance, knowledge, skills, experience and education.
