Job Highlights
About the Role
• Prepare bills of material for quotation packages for MV & LV switchgear products. • Interpret customer requirements and match products to specifications/drawings. • Communicate with Sales Engineers to clarify project requirements. • Analyze and document contractual, technical, and commercial terms. • Participate in order hand‑off to ensure proper conversion. • Utilize new tools and technology to improve efficiency. • Develop quotations from material take‑off of engineered plans. • Provide consistent, responsive, high‑quality service to customers. • Build and maintain relationships with quotation development stakeholders. • Stay current on new products, industry trends, and product developments. • Coordinate with internal Quote Support Groups to meet schedules and project requirements. • Gather required information for quote preparation. • Make judgment decisions on product specifications and solutions using product knowledge. • Analyze customer needs, competition, and processes to inform quoting decisions. • Suggest suitable substitute products where appropriate. • Download required specifications, plans, and take‑offs. • Take on stretched assignments as needed. • Work flexible shift timings to support remote US teams; minimal travel required. • Provide market intelligence input as required. • Attend sales meetings and training programs as needed. • Interpret front elevation, one‑line, and schematic drawings. • Maintain professional, ethical, and courteous behavior in the workplace.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or an MTech in Power Systems with at least 65 % (or 6.8/10 CGPA) and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with AutoCAD are required; familiarity with low‑voltage switchgear tendering, relays and UL standards is a plus. • Demonstrate strong basic knowledge in electrical engineering. • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. • Be proficient with AutoCAD. • Possess knowledge of low‑voltage switchboard/switchgear tendering, design, installation, and application (preferred). • Familiarity with relays and their functions (preferred). • Knowledge of UL standards such as UL 845, UL 508, UL 1558, UL 891 (preferred).
