Job Highlights
About the Role
• Operate heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report any issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow assigned route schedules. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, and ensure containers are properly positioned and lids replaced. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage and finalize documentation at the end of each route.
