About the Role
As an IS Portfolio Delivery Manager at Centrica you sit at the heart of where strategy meets delivery, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Agile and Waterfall initiatives that support specific business areas. Working closely with senior business and technology leaders you will build trusted relationships, align priorities and ensure the right outcomes are delivered on time. This UK‑based hybrid role includes weekly travel to site. • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of programmes/portfolios, ensuring measurable business outcomes. • Own portfolio plan, budget and scope, delivering benefits on time, cost and quality. • Balance competing priorities, dependencies and risks to keep delivery moving. • Collaborate across business and support functions to shape vision, business cases and delivery models. • Align portfolio with business objectives, DTS strategy and Centrica goals for quarterly, annual and 3‑year planning. • Establish and run effective governance, enabling strong decision‑making and removing obstacles. • Optimize return on investment by continuously reviewing options throughout the portfolio lifecycle.

What You Bring
• Proven experience communicating with senior stakeholders and embedding complex change. • Extensive experience managing inter‑relationships between large programmes, portfolios and BAU. • Strong track record of delivering with internal functions (incl. DTS) and managing third‑party suppliers. • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage programme/resource capacity and contingency. • Recognised for leading, coaching and motivating multi‑disciplinary teams to high performance. • Hands‑on experience conducting quality assurance and health‑check reviews, identifying risks early.
