About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, working with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure make‑ready processes meet operational objectives. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management maintenance requests. • Perform repairs, replacements, and routine upkeep of common areas, units, grounds, breezeways, and swimming pools, maintaining accurate chemical logs. • Conduct preventive‑maintenance tasks, inspections, and hazard identification to extend property life and ensure safety compliance. • Assist with turn‑over events, unit inspections, and make‑ready processes under supervision. • Maintain an organized, well‑stocked maintenance shop and adhere to OSHA and Asset Living policies. • Record service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventive‑maintenance activities, and make‑ready status accurately. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and after‑hours support as needed.

What You Bring
• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills; understand Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Meet physical demands such as lifting 100+ lb, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and operating power tools and vehicles. • Possess reliable transportation for emergency on‑call situations.

Benefits
