About the Role

Associate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining multifamily communities to a market‑ready standard while delivering a high level of service. They also build and motivate high‑performing teams to maximize property performance. Key duties include assisting the Regional Property Manager, overseeing all aspects of operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The Associate Property Manager must provide superior customer service, complete lease paperwork to company standards, track advertising effectiveness, and lead by example while supervising the on‑site team, handling hiring, coaching, resident file management, conflict resolution, and community budgeting in collaboration with leasing staff. • Assist Regional Property Manager with overall building operations. • Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to increase satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork according to company standards. • Track and evaluate advertising performance and client traffic. • Supervise on‑site team, enforce company policies, and manage hiring, coaching, and performance reviews. • Maintain resident files and ensure prompt conflict resolution. • Manage community budget and finances, collaborating with leasing staff to meet marketing goals. • Set leasing goals, coach staff, and improve individual performance.

What You Bring

Critical competencies involve effective communication, strong customer service, computer literacy with Microsoft Office, and solid office, bookkeeping, and sales skills. Education requirements include a preferred Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma/GED, and candidates must have at least three years of property management experience and three years of management experience. The position operates in a professional office environment, using standard equipment, and may require travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include climbing stairs, standing or sitting for the majority of the time, and regular use of hands for office tasks. • Demonstrate effective communication, computer literacy (MS Office), and general office, bookkeeping, and sales skills. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or High School diploma/GED; possess 3+ years property management and management experience. • Work in a professional office setting, travel between properties, and meet physical demands such as climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
