About the Role

The Service Account Leader will guide customer account growth, driving labor and material revenue while ensuring profitability and productivity of the service team. This role also oversees customer relationships, employee development, and adherence to safety programs. • Lead service customer accounts, driving labor and material growth and overall profitability • Set and monitor gross‑margin targets for planned service agreements and L&M work • Grow L&M revenue by coaching technicians and team leads • Manage warranty‑related customer issues and ensure timely resolution • Procure, maintain, and audit fleet and tool inventories • Supervise and audit technicians and customer service agents to ensure consistent service delivery • Review and approve all labor and material quotations • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial performance • Maintain appropriate staffing levels, hire, train, and transition new employees • Conduct formal performance reviews and address related employee issues • Ensure compliance with safety programs and achieve safety performance goals

What You Bring

Successful candidates will have technical training or equivalent experience in HVAC or building controls, combined with proven management experience in a service‑delivery setting. Strong leadership, communication, and financial acumen are essential, along with the ability to prioritize work and motivate diverse teams. • Technical school training or equivalent experience in HVAC or building controls • Minimum three years of management experience in a service‑delivery environment • Ability to prioritize work, schedule teams, and lead diverse personnel • Strong interpersonal, customer‑service, and negotiation skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Basic financial accounting knowledge • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems • Preferred diploma in electronic or mechanical systems • At least two years of prior experience in HVAC or building controls • Five or more years in a service‑management role leading a similar team
