About the Role
The Leasing Manager partners with the Community Manager to set leasing goals, develop marketing strategies, and lead the on‑site leasing team. The role ensures effective leasing, marketing, resident relations, and achievement of budgeted occupancy. • Lead the leasing team to meet occupancy targets and close leases efficiently. • Audit lease files for compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. • Resolve resident complaints and implement retention programs such as events and newsletters. • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan and budget, creating campaigns to drive traffic. • Monitor leasing and renewal performance, coordinating events approved by the Community Manager. • Conduct weekly market surveys and maintain product knowledge of the property and competition. • Assist the Community Manager in recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating on‑site staff. • Ensure staff adherence to company policies through ongoing guidance and performance reviews. • Oversee property appearance, coordinate maintenance requests, and manage vendor relationships cost‑effectively.
