The position involves safely operating articulating off-road haul trucks or dump trucks and performing preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk-around inspections to ensure safe operation. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time • Identify and implement improvements in tasks, methods, and processes • Maintain positive relationships with crew members • Deliver high‑quality work safely and productively • Ensure needed materials, tools, equipment, and information are available • Read and apply safety and quality standards; use trade tools effectively • Perform physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working 12‑hour shifts in varied conditions • Follow all safety standards and procedures
