About the Role
The Director will provide guidance on complex project‑control problems, interface with clients, and deliver strategic recommendations to support decision‑making. They will lead the creation of a master coding architecture, build a scalable reporting system, and champion procedures for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management. • Guide resolution of complex project‑control issues. • Interface with clients, attend meetings, and provide strategic recommendations. • Lead development of program master coding architecture and scalable reporting system. • Develop and implement project‑control procedures for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management. • Manage Project Control specialists to analyze, evaluate, and forecast costs and schedule performance. • Assess impacts of design changes and schedule slippages. • Recommend and oversee customization of project‑control systems. • Coordinate staffing, assign work, supervise activities, and train personnel. • Conduct performance reviews and set development goals for team members. • Apply logical or scientific thinking to diverse support‑function problems.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a talented Director – Project Controls to lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of large‑scale projects. In this role you will develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project‑controls effort, while directing a team across all control functions using best‑practice knowledge and extensive project experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. • 25+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in a managerial role. • Strong communication and collaborative teamwork abilities. • Proven stakeholder management skills up to the C‑suite level. • Strong business acumen with data‑driven decision‑making. • PMO/PMC experience. • Engineering knowledge in civil, electrical, mechanical, or related disciplines. • Excellent oral and written communication for client presentations and technical reporting. • Proficiency with Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to lead and motivate a construction management team. • Capability to interface with all project stakeholders. • Skill in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents. • Ability to handle sensitive inquiries or complaints effectively.
