About the Role
The role focuses on managing and expanding the company's social media presence, maintaining the content calendar, and coordinating projects through Asana while ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The coordinator will also lead community engagement, foster relationships with audiences and influencers, and stay abreast of industry trends to continuously improve social strategies. Data analysis, reporting on engagement metrics, and supporting paid social initiatives are key responsibilities, leveraging tools such as Sprout, Cision, and social‑listening platforms. • Manage and grow Kimley‑Horn’s social media presence across multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency. • Maintain and update the organic content calendar, ensuring accurate tracking and deadline adherence. • Utilize Asana for project management and coordination of social initiatives. • Collaborate with strategists, marketing, communications, and subject‑matter experts to execute posting plans and develop content. • Generate content ideas, trends, and inspiration during planning sessions. • Serve as primary community contact, engage audiences, moderate discussions, and uphold community guidelines. • Initiate and sustain meaningful conversations, address concerns, and amplify influencer advocacy. • Monitor industry and social media trends to continuously improve engagement strategies. • Collect, analyze, and report insights from polls, surveys, and interactions to refine messaging. • Use Sprout and Cision for social listening, tracking sentiment, and identifying engagement opportunities. • Prepare regular performance reports on engagement, reach, and sentiment for internal stakeholders. • Support paid social media and other marketing activities as needed.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, have at least two years of social‑media management experience, strong storytelling abilities, and a collaborative mindset; familiarity with the AEC industry is a bonus. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; certifications preferred. • Minimum 2 years of professional social‑media management experience (agency or in‑house). • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Exceptional written and verbal communication; skilled at storytelling and simplifying technical information. • Experience with social‑media analytics tools, preferably Sprout. • Bonus: familiarity with the AEC industry.
