About the Role

The BIM Lead role sits within our Rail & Transit, Transportation Systems team, where you will shape the digital backbone of transformative transit projects across the GTA and beyond, guide cross‑disciplinary teams, champion model‑based delivery, and accelerate the shift toward integrated, data‑driven outcomes. In this position you will lead digital design processes, ensure high‑quality modelling, coordinate across teams, and help develop BIM standards. • Shape and implement project‑wide BIM strategy aligned with client, lifecycle, and delivery goals. • Lead configuration and oversight of digital design systems (ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud) for seamless collaboration. • Develop, maintain, and enforce the Design BIM Execution Plan and BIM Uses for consistent high‑quality models. • Provide technical leadership across Civil 3D, Revit, and digital best practices throughout design phases. • Collaborate with Construction BIM teams to align workflows from design through execution. • Monitor Design BIM team performance, reporting insights, risks, and improvement opportunities. • Mentor junior staff, elevate modelling standards, and support evolution of regional BIM methodologies.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with deep BIM delivery experience on complex infrastructure, especially rail and transit, fluent in Revit, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, and ACC, knowledgeable of ISO 19650, and capable of leading senior designers and multi‑office teams in a matrix environment. • Deep technical experience delivering BIM on complex infrastructure, especially rail and transit. • Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, ProjectWise, ACC, and model‑based collaboration tools. • Strong understanding and application of ISO 19650 standards and digital QA frameworks. • Proven ability to develop and enforce BIM execution plans and ensure compliance. • Experience leading senior designers, modelers, and multi‑office teams in a matrix setting. • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving project priorities and complex digital workflows. • Bonus: Experience with Dynamo/Python scripting, design automation, or AR/VR in infrastructure modeling. • Recognized nationally and internationally for rail & transit technical excellence and digital delivery.
