About the Role

Key duties include performing field checks of as‑built plans, conducting on‑site compliance inspections, quality assurance, and progress monitoring. The inspector also carries out material testing, basic surveying, communicates discrepancies to contractors, and manages final inspections with punchlist creation and resolution. Detailed daily records, diaries, photographs, and reports are maintained, and the inspector prepares payment applications, construction reports, and monthly cost estimates while monitoring budgets and schedules. Additional responsibilities involve supervising and mentoring lower‑level inspectors, participating in professional development and training, and handling limited project‑management tasks.
