About the Role

• Lead internal transaction kickoff and create/distribute deal playbooks. • Coordinate transaction closings, track checklist items, and organize the internal team. • Establish and maintain deal rooms for each transaction. • Consolidate legal due diligence and documents. • Manage internal and external access to deal rooms. • Order and review third‑party reports (title, survey, zoning, environmental, seismic, engineering). • Oversee legal estimate process and track counsel costs. • Coordinate NDAs with outside counsel and business teams. • Manage legal billing for capital‑markets activities. • Coordinate KYC for lenders, bank accounts, and interest‑rate derivatives. • Respond to corporate secretarial searches and manage signature pages. • Manage interest‑rate derivative transactions. • Assist treasury in developing and executing bank account strategy. • Handle post‑closing document management and capital‑markets record oversight. • Create and distribute hand‑off memos with final transaction information. • Close deal rooms and archive records in internal database. • Manage debt database updates and third‑party document uploads. • Prepare loan extension and property release notices. • Serve as capital‑markets point of contact for post‑closing compliance. • Address ad‑hoc loan document requests from sector teams.

What You Bring

The firm is seeking a motivated individual with transaction legal experience to join the North American Capital Markets team, supporting the execution of complex financings for global real estate funds. This role will manage key aspects of deal execution, including transaction coordination, documentation, and post‑closing processes, and reports to the head of Transaction Management. • Minimum 5 years corporate paralegal or legal analyst experience. • Bachelor’s degree required. • Transaction paralegal experience. • Notary public certification (preferred). • Exceptional attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Strong organizational and project‑management skills. • Ability to work autonomously and in teams under deadline pressure. • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. • Comfortable interacting with executives and senior management.
