About the Role
In this position you will own a major area of the PDMS platform and its application frameworks, defining a multi‑year product strategy and roadmap aligned with Autodesk’s broader business objectives. You will translate long‑term strategy into actionable plans that balance platform evolution with immediate delivery needs, and clearly articulate the value proposition and usage boundaries for internal and external stakeholders. Partnering closely with engineering, you will ensure platform capabilities are designed and prioritized to enable downstream product teams to move faster and with higher quality. Continuous monitoring of platform adoption and usage will guide iteration and investment decisions. The role also involves leading cross‑functional collaboration with platform engineering, architecture, developer experience, research, and downstream product teams to align on priorities, trade‑offs, and sequencing. You will prepare and deliver executive‑level communications such as strategy presentations and roadmap reviews, acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders. Balancing the needs of internal Autodesk product teams with external developers and partners, you will advocate for consistency, scalability, and extensibility across a diverse product ecosystem. What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of product management experience, including ownership of platforms, frameworks, or shared services in a large‑scale ecosystem, and a proven ability to define and execute multi‑year strategies while delivering incremental value. Strong cross‑functional leadership, the ability to influence without authority, and experience presenting to executive audiences are required; familiarity with CAD, CAM, or manufacturing domains and internal developer platforms is preferred.
