About the Role

The Foundation Foreman leads foundation crews in constructing foundations for utility power infrastructure, including transmission towers, poles, and substations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to engineering specifications and company standards. • Coach, lead, and manage daily activities of foundation crews to ensure productivity. • Direct excavation, formwork, rebar placement, concrete pouring, and anchor bolt installation. • Enforce safety protocols, conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure OSHA and company compliance. • Inspect work to confirm compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. • Coordinate tools, equipment, and materials; report shortages or issues promptly. • Address on‑site challenges such as soil conditions, equipment malfunctions, and weather delays. • Maintain accurate daily logs of crew activities, hours worked, and progress updates for reporting.

What You Bring

The role demands regular standing, walking, and lifting over 50 lb, with frequent exposure to noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and varying weather conditions typical of construction sites. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in civil or construction preferred. • 3–5 years foundation work experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role. • Knowledge of concrete foundations, rebar installation, and soil stabilization techniques. • Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance. • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with safe driving record. • Able to travel long distances on short notice and work extended periods in various locations. • Physical ability to lift over 50 lb and properly inspect rubber goods and PPE. • Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and outside normal schedules as required. • Demonstrates self‑motivation, teamwork, customer orientation, effective communication, and ethical conduct.
