What You Bring
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician / Electrical Fitter to join our Energy & Utilities team based in Paeroa on a full-time permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of electricity distribution network equipment, including work on substations, transformers, switchgear, regulators and associated network assets. • Hold a trade qualification with relevant electrical registration and a current practising licence (NZQA Electrical Level 4 or equivalent) • Possess a current manual Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 preferred) • Have experience in electricity distribution construction, maintenance and fault response, including both underground and overhead work • Demonstrate sound knowledge of substation equipment, electrical test equipment, systems and procedures • Exhibit clear verbal and written communication skills and produce accurate documentation and reports • Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in challenging conditions
