About the Role
The technician is responsible for assembling and wiring both standard and engineered control assemblies, as well as conducting full functional and electrical testing on products in the Modification Shop. Work is performed using drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other verbal or written instructions, encompassing both electrical and mechanical assembly. All work must comply with CSA, UL, and CEC codes and meet company quality requirements. The employee is also expected to provide input and recommendations to improve work‑area effectiveness and perform other related duties as assigned. What You Bring
Candidates must be enrolled in or returning to an applicable post‑secondary program and be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is considered an asset. The role requires a strong customer‑service focus, commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and effective time‑management. Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, along with solid problem‑solving, mathematical, and troubleshooting skills, is essential. • Be enrolled in or returning to an applicable post‑secondary program. • Be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. • Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is an asset. • Demonstrate strong customer‑service focus, confidentiality, professionalism, and time‑management. • Work safely on multiple projects in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
