About the Role
Each day you will service trucks and equipment that support over 20 million customers nationwide, using modern tools and procedures to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. The role offers the pride of seeing a repaired truck return to service, supporting your local community, and advancing your technical skills. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on various vehicles and equipment • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review, complete, or assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area complying with Corporate/OSHA standards

The work environment includes both indoor garage/shop settings and outdoor conditions such as inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
