About the Role
Each day you will diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and equipment that serve more than 20 million customers across the United States. Working with modern tools, you’ll handle diesel equipment and, at some locations, a growing fleet of CNG trucks, taking pride in keeping vehicles safe and operational for the community. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on vehicles • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and labor • Review and address items on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards

What You Bring
The role requires frequent physical effort such as lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, and constant standing, walking, and grasping. You’ll be exposed to typical occupational risks like cuts, burns, chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions both inside the garage and outdoors. • Preferred: welding experience and ASE certifications • Minimum 2 years relevant mechanic experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean record • Age 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States • Ability to meet physical demands of the role • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Determined problem solver • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constant standing, walking, grasping • Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, noise, and weather extremes • Work both inside garage/shop and outdoors in inclement conditions
