About the Role

The role involves establishing SOPs, overseeing engineering design, managing risk and safety, driving preventive and pre‑emptive maintenance, training on‑site teams, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and statutory regulations. Candidates should have an engineering or diploma qualification with relevant experience, tertiary studies in property or facilities management, and proven contract administration, tendering and people‑skills abilities. The position also includes supporting service delivery teams, auditing risk exposure, and contributing to monthly client reports. You will act as a leadership role model, set stretch targets, make difficult decisions, promote collaborative relationships and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. These actions help drive cost savings, productivity improvements, and energy efficiency. • Establish SOPs for managing the client‑critical environment and ensure site compliance. • Identify system shortcomings and respond to operational or emergency situations. • Conduct planned preventive maintenance according to schedule. • Implement and manage risk and safety practices to minimize operational interruptions. • Perform regular inspections for energy conservation, maintenance, utility and risk management. • Run a pre‑emptive maintenance program to prevent sudden equipment failures. • Train on‑site teams on equipment procedures and implementation. • Support service delivery teams with equipment maintenance and upkeep. • Inspect regularly to verify procedural compliance and update as needed. • Manage an audit program to minimize exposure to risk. • Ensure compliance with fire, health and safety statutory regulations. • Maintain all safety procedures, including crisis management and emergency protocols. • Provide health and safety induction for service teams and contractors before deployment. • Keep an equipment database for the site. • Develop innovative programs to reduce utility costs and increase productivity. • Implement strategies to achieve measurable energy consumption improvements. • Assist with churn and project work. • Contribute to the monthly site report for the client. • Adhere to key performance indicators. • Implement best practices. • Deliver agreed cost‑saving initiatives. • Act as a leadership role model, embodying JLL cultural standards. • Set stretch targets to maximise team performance. • Make difficult decisions and resolve problems to improve operations. • Promote open, constructive, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Understand engineering design and operational aspects of facility systems and equipment. • Hold an engineering degree (2 yrs exp) or diploma (4 yrs exp) in the relevant field. • Possess tertiary qualifications in property, building or facilities management. • Have contract administration experience. • Demonstrate excellent people skills for interacting with diverse client staff. • Experience with tendering and service‑improvement initiatives. • Knowledge of occupational safety requirements. • Strong PC literacy and ability to manage daily activities via various systems. • Listen effectively and communicate through actions and examples. • Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.
