About the Role

The Maintenance Technician A works under the direct supervision of a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager. The role involves repairing and maintaining diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, refuse bodies, air brake systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering. Employees enjoy working on a single fleet of advanced vehicles, receive training on new technologies, and benefit from stable shifts, competitive wages, and clear career paths. Key responsibilities include advanced repairs of chassis components, hydraulic and electrical systems in refuse bodies, air and hydraulic brakes, engines, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, and line‑maintenance welding and fabrication. The technician must diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools, complete required company training, and perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Candidates need at least three years of heavy‑duty truck experience and must be able to inspect and repair systems such as suspensions, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions with minimal supervision. ASE Heavy‑Truck certifications (T1‑T8), LNG/CNG experience, and a Class B CDL are preferred but not required.
