About the Role
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations, including showing units, processing applications, handling resident complaints, and supporting retention initiatives. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete leasing paperwork before move‑in and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Help develop and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Contribute to office, common area, and model unit upkeep and cleaning. • Assist with annual marketing plan implementation and continuous market surveys/analysis. • Keep thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; produce weekly market reports. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and project a favorable community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA. • Ability to perform on‑site software functions, lift/move objects up to 25 lb, ascend ladders and stairs, operate equipment, and work overtime, weekends, night hours, and in varied environmental conditions.
