About the Role
The haul truck operator is responsible for safely moving materials around the site, inspecting equipment before use, and supporting consistent material flow between loading and dumping areas. The position requires strict adherence to safety procedures, effective communication with team members, and a strong commitment to a safety‑first culture. • Operate haul trucks to transport materials across the site • Perform pre‑shift equipment inspections and promptly report issues • Maintain steady material flow between loading and dumping zones • Follow all safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture • Coordinate daily operations through effective team communication • Identify and clearly communicate equipment or material problems • Work in environments with moving machinery, inclement weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and high noise levels

What You Bring
Candidates must be able to operate haul units confidently, demonstrate strong safety awareness, and quickly identify and report equipment or material issues. Effective teamwork, attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn site processes are also essential. Successful applicants will undergo a pre‑offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, background check, and may be subject to FMCSA‑regulated testing. The role involves working with moving mechanical equipment in varied weather conditions, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. • Demonstrate confidence in operating haul units and adherence to safety practices • Work reliably with attention to detail while learning site processes • Complete required pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
