About the Role
• Prepare financial, leasing, environmental, land‑use, and entitlement analyses and project reports • Coordinate budget preparation, tracking, and governmental agency review • Conduct cash‑flow analysis for various underwriting scenarios and debt options • Create and update financial analyses for new acquisitions and existing assets • Explain underwriting assumptions verbally and in writing • Perform comprehensive due diligence on new acquisitions from sourcing to closing • Prepare financial charts, data graphs, market inquiries, and comparable analyses • Create and manage presentation packages for new opportunities • Participate in a 401(k) retirement plan with Mortenson matching contributions

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or Accounting (preferred) • Possess at least two years of business experience in real estate • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel • Understand accounting and commercial real‑estate terminology, principles, metrics, and valuation techniques • Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills • Thrive in a high‑energy environment • Be a resourceful self‑starter with initiative, capable of independent work and long hours when needed • Use a no‑cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work‑life resources

The base salary for this position ranges from $78,800 to $98,500, with higher rates for locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C.
