About the Role
The Road Mechanic position performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet that may include aerial platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑and‑gas equipment. Technicians work in remote, often challenging locations while adhering to strict safety standards to minimize downtime. What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired • 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations) • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
