About the Role
The Cable Department Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day operations, prioritizing workload, assigning tasks, and ensuring work meets the highest standards. This role assists staff with order pulling, loading and unloading trucks, scans equipment using barcode systems, and manages projects assigned by the Operations Manager. The supervisor also maintains organized warehouse shelves, ensures equipment testing and WorkSafe BC compliance, approves timesheets, participates in multiple daily and weekly meetings, and works closely with Training to provide proper instruction while seeking cost‑reduction opportunities and delivering top‑level customer service. • Supervise daily activities of the Cable Department and assign tasks • Assist staff with pulling orders, loading and unloading trucks • Scan equipment in and out using barcode scanners • Oversee projects assigned by the Operations Manager • Ensure staff stay on schedule and maintain organized warehouse shelves • Verify equipment testing, inspection, and WorkSafe BC compliance • Approve daily timesheets and interview new cable candidates • Attend departmental and company meetings • Collaborate with Training department to provide proper instruction • Identify cost‑reduction opportunities while delivering high‑level customer service

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least two years of supervisory experience and a technical understanding of lighting and grip equipment.
