About the Role
As a Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will be on the front lines helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, mitigate risks, and implement best‑in‑class safety programs. Your work will directly influence how organizations operate safely and sustainably. The role involves serving as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients, conducting safety risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations, and developing innovative EHS programs across many domains. You will build strong client relationships and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. • Develop and implement innovative safety programs covering hazard communication, injury/illness prevention, chemical management, and process safety. • Conduct audits, risk assessments, inspections, and industrial hygiene evaluations. • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions. • Perform hazardous materials inspections, sampling, and oversee building safety. • Support construction safety, behavior‑based safety, and specialized areas such as biohazards, electrical safety, fire prevention, laser safety, LOTO, machine guarding, robotics safety, and lockout/tagout. • Collect and analyze field data; prepare technical reports and recommendations. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain quality standards.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related science (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 2 + years of relevant EHS experience. • Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Strong, client‑focused communication skills. • Willingness to travel up to 40 hours/week in Northern California and maintain a valid driver’s license. • Preferred: Master’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field. • Preferred: Expertise in California‑specific EHS regulations and best practices.

Benefits
The anticipated base salary ranges from $76,000 to $97,410 USD, with potential bonus eligibility, and the position includes a comprehensive benefits package such as paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
