About the Role
You will communicate regularly with project managers, teams, and clients to provide status updates and resolve technical issues. You will schedule work assignments, set priorities, direct subordinate staff, and participate in client meetings and presentations. Using the Terms of Reference, you will identify client needs, prepare feasibility reports, and develop design proposals. You will control projects from start to finish, reviewing design documents for correctness, conformity with project requirements, specifications, and applicable building codes and regulations. • Communicate status updates and resolve technical issues with project managers, teams, and clients. • Schedule work assignments, set priorities, and direct subordinate staff. • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss progress and design concepts. • Identify client needs, prepare feasibility reports, and develop design proposals using the Terms of Reference. • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high‑quality, innovative, and functional outcomes. • Review design documents for compliance with project requirements, specifications, and local/international building codes.

Parsons is seeking a talented Medical Equipment Specialist with strong healthcare experience to support healthcare and hospital projects. The role involves coordinating medical‑equipment activities, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and collaborating with project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and has at least 12 years of professional experience, including 7 years on healthcare and hospital projects with mandatory GCC experience. Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Standards, international building standards, construction details, and quality standards is required, along with advanced proficiency in relevant software and design tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, as well as strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills, are essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 12 years of experience, including 7 years on healthcare/hospital projects in the GCC. • Possess strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Standards, international building standards, construction details, and quality standards. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency with relevant software and design tools. • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills. • Prior experience on large‑scale healthcare or hospital development programs is advantageous.
