About the Role

The Leasing Consultant serves as a dynamic professional who engages prospective and current residents, creating lasting positive impressions through a warm, energetic personality. The role coordinates marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue retention goals, while managing time effectively, being detail-oriented, and acting as a trustworthy team player. Key duties include maintaining clean, rent-ready apartments and common areas, responding promptly to calls and emails, converting inquiries into walk-in traffic, touring prospects with enthusiasm, processing applications immediately, and following the Weidner Move-In Experience. The consultant also monitors traffic, shops competitive properties monthly, supports lease renewals, and ensures the leasing office remains professional and orderly. • Conduct marketing tours, open target units, and ensure apartments and amenities are clean and rent-ready. • Respond promptly to resident and prospect calls and emails, converting inquiries into walk-in traffic. • Schedule and lead enthusiastic property tours, guiding prospects through the leasing process. • Review, process, and communicate application results immediately upon receipt. • Maintain daily quality standards for apartments, common areas, and leasing office presentation. • Track and manage leasing traffic, shop competing properties monthly, and implement daily marketing strategies. • Assist with timely lease renewals to promote resident retention. • Provide reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance. • Uphold Weidner’s mission, policies, Fair Housing regulations, and complete background/drug-testing requirements.

What You Bring

Candidates must have prior customer-service experience, be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly across phone, email, text, and in person. Preferred skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with Yardi or Paycom, while all applicants must adhere to Weidner’s policies, Fair Housing laws, maintain reliable transportation, possess a valid driver’s license and insurance, and agree to background and drug-testing requirements. • Follow the Weidner Move-In Experience for all approved applicants.
