About the Role
Upon completion, new Sales Engineers are expected to drive revenue and market share within assigned territories, build long‑term relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, and facility owners, and manage the sales process from bid to post‑sale support. • Achieve annual sales, gross margin, and market share targets. • Grow assigned territory by acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing relationships. • Conduct regular customer visits with mechanical contractors, engineering firms, and facility owners. • Support bid day operations and manage post‑sale submittals and order entry. • Perform take‑offs, prepare quotes, and promote Carrier product line at trade shows and events. • Assist with project management tasks after shipment, including cash collection and accounts receivable.

What You Bring
The immersive training takes place in Charlotte, NC, and equips participants with engineering fundamentals, product expertise, and consultative selling techniques. Participants will collaborate with Applications Engineers and sales teams to design solutions, troubleshoot challenges, and engage customers. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree by September 2026, possess a valid driver’s license, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include an engineering degree with at least a 3.0 GPA, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and any internship or work experience in HVAC, engineering, or sales. • Bachelor’s degree completed (or expected) by September 2026. • Valid driver’s license. • Legal U.S. work authorization without sponsorship. • Four‑year engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, etc.) with minimum 3.0 GPA. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. • Technical aptitude and creativity; HVAC, engineering, or sales internship experience a plus.
