About the Role
The operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of welding machines to ensure that quality parts are produced and delivered to customers in a timely manner. Daily duties include setting up and adjusting machines, receiving instructions, prints, and route sheets, organizing shift tasks, and operating, programming, and troubleshooting robot systems for material handling, drilling, and welding to meet productivity and quality standards. The operator also performs required quality tests, certifications, and production checks. The role requires continual visual inspection of products, recording production data, reporting scrap, and performing rework as needed. Routine equipment adjustments, manual repair or hand‑welding of out‑of‑tolerance parts, and operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand‑held grinders are also required, while keeping the work area clean and working effectively as part of a team. • Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines and robotic systems. • Receive and interpret job instructions, prints, and route sheets. • Perform required quality tests, certifications, and production checks. • Visually inspect products, record production data, and report scrap. • Conduct routine equipment adjustments and manual hand‑welding repairs. • Operate overhead crane, forklift, and hand‑held grinder. • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and collaborate with team members. • Navigate the Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) and solve process problems.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a certified welder qualification or equivalent experience, with 6G or pipe‑welding experience preferred. They must pass the AWS Certification Test, skillfully use calipers, gauges, and SPC procedures, navigate the HMI, and demonstrate strong problem‑solving motivation. • Hold certified welder credentials; 6G/pipe welding experience preferred. • Pass AWS Certification Test and proficiently use calipers, gauges, and SPC procedures.
