About the Role
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards and all applicable regulations. The driver completes daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) to guarantee timely repair of any defects. The driver conducts thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and reports any safety issues. While following the route sheet and map, the driver loads, compacts, and transports waste to the disposal site, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, and maintains the vehicle’s operational readiness between trips. Customer interaction is a core part of the role; the driver courteously communicates with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. Accurate completion of route, productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports supports departmental productivity standards, and participation in the Company’s ReSOP safety program is required. • Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Operate the collection truck along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and delivering waste to disposal sites • Tag and manage unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness during trips • Complete route sheets, productivity reports, and daily VCRs accurately • Uphold productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies, including participation in the ReSOP program • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service

What You Bring
