What You Bring
Autodesk's Entertainment & Media team is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Developer to lead the QA team, drive team‑level outcomes, and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture. Reporting to the Manager of Software Quality Assurance, the role includes mentoring and developing team members to align with team objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive front‑end testing experience, deep knowledge of web technologies, and an understanding of media streaming, post‑production workflows, and film production technology. The position guides the design, development, and execution of both automated and manual tests to ensure the highest quality of web applications, giving equal attention to each testing type. Proficiency in JavaScript and experience using Cypress are essential for success in this role. Minimum qualifications consist of at least three years of experience in an agile/scrum environment, a strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and related testing methodologies, and proficiency in JavaScript with Cypress. Candidates should also be familiar with streaming media formats and overall movie production technology, have experience designing and executing test plans, and be comfortable teaching others. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab, effective communication and teamwork abilities, strong task‑prioritization skills, and a university degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) are required. Preferred qualifications include experience with additional automation tools and frameworks, knowledge of Applitools Eyes or similar visual UI testing standards, familiarity with RESTful APIs and API testing, proficiency with version control systems like Git, and background in performance and security testing. • 3+ years of QA experience in agile/scrum environments • Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web testing methodologies • Proficient in JavaScript and Cypress automation • Understanding of streaming media formats and film production technology • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab • Effective communication, collaboration, and task prioritization skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent • Preferred: experience with additional automation tools, Applitools Eyes, RESTful API testing, Git, performance and security testing

Compensation is competitive and based on experience and geographic location, encompassing a base salary, annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package. For positions based in Canada (British Columbia), the salary range is disclosed as X to X dollars, with the possibility of exceeding this range depending on qualifications.
