About the Role

The Assistant Project Lead in Project and Development Services (based in Pune) works closely with the Project Lead and Senior Project Lead, taking ownership of projects ranging from small to large scale. The role involves structuring project teams, streamlining reporting and communication, and ensuring clear objectives for each initiative. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a core responsibility; the assistant lead must understand client needs, balance them with JLL’s business goals, and seek cross‑selling opportunities. Managing project revenue and payment cycles to avoid bad debt is also part of the role. To uphold JLL’s 200‑year legacy of project excellence, the assistant lead will manage professional consultants, handle contract administration with vendors, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Identifying risks, implementing mitigation measures, and producing project‑related reports and analyses are also required. • Lead small to large projects, supporting Project Lead and Senior Project Lead. • Structure project teams, streamline reporting, communication, and procedures. • Attend PCG meetings and prepare accurate project control reports. • Drive adoption of JLL technology tools such as Adaptive Work and Open Space. • Manage budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure cost‑effective processes. • Build and maintain strong client relationships while balancing JLL business goals. • Identify cross‑selling opportunities and manage project revenue and payment cycles. • Oversee consultants, handle contract administration, and ensure legal compliance. • Identify project risks, implement mitigation measures, and generate reports and analyses.

What You Bring

Attendance at Project Control Group (PCG) meetings is essential to support accurate reporting, while the assistant lead also drives adoption of JLL technology tools such as Adaptive Work and Open Space. Strong budget management skills are required to forecast expenditures and keep projects within reasonable cost parameters. Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or a Master’s in Civil/Construction/Project Management) and have at least five to seven years of project planning experience, preferably on industrial greenfield or brownfield projects. Required skills include pre‑construction documentation, MS Project/Primavera scheduling, procurement, progress reporting, risk management, billing, and cost reconciliation. • Hold a civil engineering degree or master's with 5–7 years of project planning experience. • Experience in IPC on industrial greenfield/brownfield construction projects. • Skilled in pre‑construction documentation, MS Project/Primavera scheduling, procurement, and tendering. • Proficient in progress reporting, risk management, billing, change‑order processing, and cost reconciliation.
