About the Role
The Account Payable Assistant, reporting to the Manager of Accounting, will manage all accounts payable duties, including daily, bi‑weekly, and monthly processing, vendor interactions, internal and bank postings, auditing, research, approvals, payments, and follow‑ups. This role is based at Nikkiso ACD in Santa Ana, CA. • Code invoices, vouchers, expense reports, and check requests with correct accounting codes. • Handle vendor correspondence via phone and email. • Apply three‑way matching for incoming invoices and supporting documentation. • Investigate and resolve problems with invoice and purchase order processing. • Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions; manage weekly check run. • Process remittance information and credit accounts according to standard procedures. • Respond to internal and external inquiries about account status and resolve discrepancies. • File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports. • Perform credit‑card reconciliations and expense concurrence. • Maintain accurate 10‑key entry by touch. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis. • Multi‑task, meet deadlines, and follow up on pending issues.

Benefits
Compensation is offered at $20.00‑$25.00 per hour.
