About the Role
The Polymer Center Wash Line Operator is responsible for overseeing and operating the grinding and wash line processes at the Polymer Center. This role ensures strict adherence to accident prevention programs and compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards while maintaining a strong working knowledge of rPET grinding and wash line equipment for efficient operation and basic troubleshooting. Key duties include removing unsafe conditions, executing the manufacturing plan for each shift, and performing pre‑ and post‑operation equipment inspections. The operator continuously monitors production and waste for quality issues, tracks equipment readiness to minimize downtime, performs minor maintenance, documents service activities, and reports needed repairs. They also follow all safety policies, represent the company positively to drive customer satisfaction, support budget goals, and foster a collaborative team environment. • Operate grinding and wash line equipment safely and efficiently. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation equipment inspections. • Monitor production output and waste for quality issues. • Conduct minor equipment maintenance and document service. • Complete equipment condition reports and notify supervisors of repairs. • Follow all safety, environmental and company policies. • Support customer satisfaction and division budget goals. • Foster a collaborative, communicative team environment. • Participate in health‑care and dependent care spending accounts.
