About the Role
The team is looking for a software engineer to shape and improve web‑based products. Working in a tightly knit, agile environment, the engineer will collaborate with product owners, architects and vendors to deliver scalable services and integrate SaaS, back‑office and desktop features. Technical ownership includes performance tuning, documentation and mentoring junior teammates while applying industry best practices. • Design, develop, refactor, optimize, and enhance web applications. • Build scalable web services using open source and commercial components. • Collaborate with business users, product owners, and agile team members. • Take technical ownership of solution areas and measure system performance. • Work with architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver a world‑class product. • Evaluate and address performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility issues. • Document system and application architectures and support SaaS and back‑office integrations. • Mentor junior developers and incorporate industry best practices.

What You Bring
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. • 5+ years developing Java‑based web applications (REST, Spring, JavaScript/NodeJS, ReactJS, Backbone/Marionette). • 3+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS). • 2+ years experience with large‑scale e‑commerce systems. • 1+ years experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis). • Strong understanding of REST API architecture and service‑oriented design. • Experience with third‑party APIs, API gateways (Apigee), TDD, Agile/Scrum, Git, Jenkins. • Exposure to AI/ML development tools (nice to have). • Effective collaborator in multidisciplinary teams delivering great user experiences. • Strong record of project execution using Scrum/Agile. • Self‑directed learner, motivated and results‑oriented. • Enjoys mentoring and working with smart peers. • Commitment to high‑quality, maintainable user‑facing and back‑end code. • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently. • Quick learner of new programming languages and technologies. • Open to iterating based on customer feedback and data.

Compensation includes a transparent salary range of $110,300 to $190,300 for U.S. roles, supplemented by bonuses, stock grants and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, financial and wellness programs.
