About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle complies with safety standards before each trip, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Daily duties involve conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, navigating assigned routes using route sheets and maps, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of the material at the designated facility. The driver must interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, monitor waste for compliance, tag problem containers, and clean any accidental spills while maintaining the vehicle’s operational readiness. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, using route sheets and maps. • Load, compact, and transport refuse using manual or automatic controls. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify, tag, and report unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures. • Clean accidental waste spills while following safety standards. • Monitor vehicle condition, clean packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip. • Complete route productivity sheets and required reports. • Adhere to productivity and safety standards, participating in the ReSOP program.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and demonstrate strong time‑management, customer‑service, and safety‑orientation. The position requires adherence to productivity standards, participation in the company’s ReSOP safety program, and a commitment to honest, trustworthy work. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities. • Hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
